Well....We should look into these Natural Wines.
I dislike the sulphur that comes through on some cheap white wines. And for old world chenin, yeah OK, rose tinted specs again, I remember, "well I think I do" recall prefering the quirky dirtier demi-sec versions of yester year.
But listening to R4 today, I was convinced I should try that delighful sounding Rose' wine from Cotes du Roussillon. A beautiful gloss rose' from a tiny 5 hectare vineyard with wonderful views overlooking the Mediteranean. The wine, truely a garage cuvee, made in a rented, and now vacated ole world Citroen service station.
I've talked about wines being properly alive and kicking, I've talked about unfiltered reds of past decades that grew new limbs whilst resting. There is an opportunity for growers who
aren't gold plated bankers steeped in currency fluctuating and asset management conferences to make some very quaffable gluggers - I believe. We shall see.
Bacchus - You may, or at least could be aware that you may consume more of this natural wine, without upsetting your digestive system -
the mind boggles
at the thought of your re-cycling duties every Sunday.
I need to find the web links.
