Listed as 'Oaky and proud' in their esoteric style listings and it certainly is.

The oak is quite present on the nose but well integrated with the aromatic Roussanne.
Gold colour and just a lovely buttery, honeyed viscous mouth feel without being sweet or cloying.

Day 2: it's seems to have lost the honey and has gone all sharp. Not undrinkable but a bit of a let down.

Would buy again but £13 full price is a bit steep.
2 for 2 from NW so far.
