It's hard to imagine the average Italian stumping up a €10 note for a NV mix of Primitivo, Montepulciano, Nero d’Avola and Merlot but Tesco seem to think we British won't mind, which is presumably why it's on clearance for £5.

That said it's hard to fault what is a smooth, black fruit, raisiny, full flavoured bottle of pasta plonk. Good value at £5

I nearly bought a case of this myself last week, changed to the TF CdRv at the last second due to the recco's on this site.

I will try and pick one up instore, I like the sound of this wine.
