For me, this is Tesco's loveliest wine. Not since the 2003 vintage has it been this good though. Very light in body. Sweet petrolly flavour. Hint of lime but far less so than the Tim Adams Clare Valley which is now only 50p more. How did that happen ?

The TA is more complex but this is gorgeous and will be stunning in three years time.

These colder climate jobbies from the bottom left-hand corner could be the next 'big thing'.
Pioneered by Plantagenet and others, they are getting increasingly good reviews and, as you say, will keep.

I think the Decanter Gold award gave T the excuse to push the price up. I've had this a few times and enjoyed it but I wouldnt pay £10 for it, the current -25% promo coupled with a coupon and free delivery would see the new price of £7 more in accord with the contents.
