Rec'd on Saturgay Fish Fry to accompany Miso (???) Salmon (Fish).
Ubiqitous 'S E Australia'. This is my kind of Sem.
May well keep. go buttery and deep, requiring a knife and fork, but this is young, fresh and lovely.
A tiny nod at riesling underlaying a dash of lime. Warming in the glass brings out the various flavours. Not too complex yet and 'good' say I.
Very quaffable, good now, may mutate into something super.

Good TN Ba,

Just a couple of questions:
Which vintage was the wine, and how did the flavour finish on this young semillion.
Is that a 90% semillion mix with the riesling grape or an extra ripe muscadelle splash (Monbazillac) to give the nod in the direction of Europe ?

2011 no additives, 100% Sem. Not a lonnnggg finish but it does linger, weaving thoughts of another glass.

Pssssst. Had three but don't tell anyone.

If the wine has declined significantly after being open for only 24hrs I would seriously doubt its aging potential.

Drink up.
