100% Cabernet Franc

Ripe on the nose with a hint of inner-tube. Medium bodied but quite solid, there’s depth of flavour here. Black cherry, pip and elderberry, some musty herb, mint and very Cab Franc. Although quite low in acidity there is a sharpness in the finish, possible a touch of greenness- this begins to wear thin by the end of the second glass and my initial likeness for the wine was replaced by a longing for something more comfortable. It may improve if slightly chilled and with certain foods but I’ve had better CF.
