At last this "Easy Jet" labelled vintage has arrived on the shelf, The '07 was good, the '08 not so and ever since this has been on offer all my 3 stores have had only '08
More of the pepper/mushroom in butter than cats pee, though there is an acidity to cut into the darkness. Fine at this price, but it has HUGE competition from other '09s around just now.

Yes. This is off my list of sb's along with every other MSB except those made by SC.

The Estate Selection at the Co-Op is the only real Kiwi sb bargain out there although I do have a bottle of Fairhall Cliffs to try from MW.

The manager loved it so she did.

Waxed lyrical.

On and on.

Twas either slap her or buy one.

SC MSB is the best now at sub £10 and the 09 Oh Block 6 beats even Clifford Bay in it's pomp.

Have just had some of this. It's alright. Nose benign. The flavour is ok.

Quite zingy gooseberry with the occasional hint of other complexities. It has a richness and acidity that makes it appear hard work in the same way I found the VM WR. It is quite dry though, no hint of commercially enhanced sweetness. It has followed the last of the Co-op Estate Reserve which may have been my downfall with the Goldwater, having followed some Vavasour, making it seem overly dry.

Will see what tomorrow brings.
