A bit one dimensional but velvety smooth and a pleasant typical cherry flavour. Good value to wash down any tomato based pasta dish.

Been waiting for this to come back on offer after the christmas stocking filler best wines of uk guy gave it a 10/10. Will buy in the next few days. Which vintage did you find wizz?

Wizz says good to wash down Italian - which is far more realistic. But for sure, please say how it is with Pasta & Lasagna. I might even .....

2007 - this wine seems to improve the longer it remains on Tesco's shelves, the 2007 has been around for a while now.

Tried this with Spag bol. It wasn't quite up to it.

Nice on its own though. A mix of cherry and blueberry. Very noticeable blueberry for me, which I found appealing. Very spicy on opening but after a couple of days this had gone, which is the case with most wines. Nice herbal notes. Pretty good for the price and could probably go on for a good while longer.
