Guentota Estate, Argentina. I've had a traumatic day and my committee-of-one decided that the sun (remember that) was well over the metre-arm. Wanted something nice with a capital "N" and got it. The '08 was wimpy and boring, but this is a cracker. The Cha balances the turkish delight/honey and adds some backbone. Still just a tad too sweety but thats just for what I was looking.

I have only ever had one torrentes. Norton from Oddbins for £4.99. I wasn't impressed. Not a patch on a good Alsace gewurz.

I've had a couple of decent Torrontes and T mixes. You can't compare a £5 S.American offering with a £20 Alsace

I had the Leyenda '10 over the weekend, it gets the thumbs up from me and Mrs GK.

There's a pleasing sour-pear note that rounds of the initial sweeter fruit gush. Something different I guess.
