(not the especial)
Nice stuff, fresh and a little peppery
Good balance
Drank this after the bottle of Peter Lehmann barossa 2008 and is by far the better expression of syrah/shiraz

Chilean: Limari Valley, Coquimbo

Is owned by Conccha y Toro

Picked a couple of these up when Sainsbury's were ending some of their lines.

Tend to now only see the Reserva Especial for sale which is sometimes discounted to 9.99
Think you might be able to pick up this one for about £8 if you can find it
so I am happy to have got this for about £6

The Limari Valley sees very little rainfall and gets quite cold at night, roots dig deep, more minerals and fresher tasting, good for Syrah methinks.

I don't think I am a fan of chilean syrah, but will try this if I spot it.
