A very pleasant surprise, after all the oil-refinery bottles that I've disliked from down under. A little petrol, but also lovely floral background and definite citrus bite. Varies a lot with temp., and for me best at v.cold.

Morrisons currently have the Nottage Hill Pinot Noir '09 reduced to £5-ish, I was tempted to pick one up.

I remember drinking a 1996 bottle of this when it was 6-7 years old and it was superb. Far more complexity (with a heavy dollop of the old paraffin) than I'd expected at the price. Drank a Penfolds Koonunga Hill the other day, also 7 years old or so, which was hopelessly past its best.

I can remember the floral bit too so it must have been good. Drank a Penfolds Koonunga Hill the other day, also 7 years old or so, which was hopelessly past its best.

I used to have a cat called Echo and she had kittens. We kept one, and called her Ditto.
