The Sainsburys one.
Drinking it now. Very light in colour. Some cherry on the nose. A touch green, nice acidity with a cranberry juice flavour and tartness. No disguising the varietal with a nod to its roots. Morish.
Very pleasant and good value for £4, a steal at £3.Notice to Forum Buyers:Antonin Rodet 2007 Bourgogne rouge TTD label.
GK, I've just had a faulty bottle, I thought it was turning last night, after I'd eaten the home made quiche, and my nose and palate were then clean.
Sucked the half full bottle out and put in a freezing cold larder.
The wine has turned over night and is only good for salad dressing.
Rich bought a lot of this - I hope his are OK. This bottle is manufacturing its own acetic acid, and making it's own light vinegar, and in only 20 hours since opening, and also in the cold.
Be Careful Folks - Find your Sains receipt. You may find similar issues with this wine.
Sorry about this
the cork was a synthetic one, no leakage detected, racked in a cold store. Assume
Faulty bottling.
