I was right, normal usage for ages then 1200 hits in 5 mins, it's also growing exponentially... I reckon Mel should pull the plug on that thread before the sight gets swamped.

It's happening on this thread too. 500 hits in a couple of minutes. Looks now like an attack of some sort.

Boys, stop. Don't have the brain space to worry about it. Will deal in the morning.

Bugger.

:gingerly raises hand:

wondering whether Mel has seen an increase in member applications while all this is going on ?

Probably just a coincidence but I did mention this forum on a wine thread on the F365 forum yesterday.

The wine thread there has received 2680 hits (altho my posting about here was one of the last posts on the thread so doubt its had anywhere near that many views) a lot less than our big hitter so it wouldn't all be down to F365 members viewing here.

may have something to do with the hits but its more likely that it is some kind of tech/supernatural invasion

I've only got one new member today, I think.

I feel that it is probably something vile.

Hoping a friend can deal tomorrow.

Hi Mel, I looked in this morning and noticed that Q0admin were on line at 7:50am. Do you want us to keep off the site until you have identified this situation ?
In the meantime, have a good day.

QO admin is me and I was just trying to see how I could delete the cranks. Not sure that is the problem and I couldn't find the way to do it. Needs someone clever. No need to keep off.
