On offer at the moment ..2 for ?5.99.

Fabulous rose. Off dry and intensely fruity but with none of the heat you might expect at 13.5%.

Just tried Torres DeCasta Rosada, which I am ashamed to say was sent to me and I lost the press release and so don't know what it costs, or where it's available from.

However, I'd come back late from collecting children (who chose to spend their Sunday a ridiculously long way from home) and was boiling hot, so an icy bottle of rose in the fridge was very welcome. Shared it with a couple of friends and it was very, very enjoyable indeed. Obviously I was absolutely desperate for something cool, but even so, this wine has an appealing dry, bitter cherry smell and a similar taste. It went down very well indeed. Will post the supplier and price when the elusive details come to light.

Not a strawberry or sweetie in sight. Perfect!
