Similar to a lot of rose, it's too sweetly fruity when chilled but is quite elegant and refined when very lightly chilled.

Chilled - tinned strawberry with a slightly cloying cherry finish...4/10

Lightly chilled - dry strawberry...7/10

Hope this makes sense

Absolutely.

Had a Languedoc Rose from Asda last night - a randomly sent sample. Actually, very nice indeed. Just enough fruitiness to be interesting, but not sweetly jammily fruity. It slipped down with supper and the BAFTAs very well.
