The Jacob's Creek is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay so I was expecting a salmon pink wine with yeasty wild strawberry flavours.
Instead I got a dark pink wine with cherry and raspberry flavours.
It was ok but nothing special..
The Lindemans Bin is made from Merlot and Syrah so I was expecting a dark pink wine with cherry and raspberry flavours.
Instead I got a salmon pink wine with yeasty wild strawberry flavours...like a Burgundy pinot rose with fizz
And very nice it was too... in fact it was closer to pink Champagne than any new world pinot noir/chardonnay blend that i've had.
Thresher no longer include sparkling wines in their 3 for 2 offers otherwise this would be £5.33 per bottle when buying 3 which would make it exceptionally good value.
