Distinctive touch of peach makes this taste like a blend of chardonnay and riesling.

Big step down on Clare Valley rieslings like Leasingham Magnus and Tim Adams.

I haven't tried that one but did buy a couple of bottles of the Mineralstein riesling from M&S ( half Mosel grapes half Pfalz ) after Matthew Jukes included it in his top 250 wines of 2003.

It tasted quite slatey and although dry by German standards was a little sweeter than the Aussie rieslings....but I did kinda like it.

I will try the Darting Estate next time I go.

Cheers !

G
