With it going on discount at £7.99 this coming weekend, I thought I’d give this Barolo a try in case it was a good opportunity to buy some more. Light in colour, akin to Pinot noir Nose gives of scents of cherry and herbs Palate carries through cherry fruit and herbs. It’s light and dry. Moderate tannic grip and medium acidity. Enjoyed the first glass but becomes a bit meh after that. It’s correct and pleasant enough but there better wine out there to spend your money on.
