I found a few of these in a very large Tesco when the 25% discount for 4 was running in store.
So picked a couple for £6 each. 85% cab 15% merlot. Oak aged

Plenty of varietal character. Lighter oak than Alpha, and rather fruity & refreshing. Medium to full and surprisingly decent length. Some dark cherry and lots of ripe blackcurrent mix with a little cassis. It would be difficult to find better value cab than this for the price. Perhaps a little sweet, a tad too sweet for me in a cab, however I think if you held on to this for two or so years, you may find some pencil lead, and balsa creeping in. It may dry-off and steady-up also.

Good QPR.
