Oz is good fun

But he can't tell us anything that we don't already know about good affordable wines.

And, he can't tell us where to pick up bargains. So....

 I think there is a hole in the TV and Media market for an MW who can actually Cook.

We want someone who is spot on with good wine and good food

My ideal job. Food and wine and showing off.

Last night, 12 for dinner

Bacchus for an aperitif got a lot of approval. (no pun needed Ba)

chunky pork terrine - with NZ and Aus PN (2, not a blend)

fish tagine - aubergine, chilli, coriander, olives, tomatoes, etc
with lovely carrots fried with tiny shallots, cumin, coriander seed and coriander - Rioja Gran Reserva and general whites from aperitifs

chocolate delice, which was delice. it was made with PX and prunes soaked in PX and so I served it with sherry - Moscatel Emilin (Lustau).

The Barrel Fermented Muga Blanco was very popular.

Bed at 1.15 and up at 6.30. How irritating is that?

I will e-talk to you all after Christmas. Have a great time and drink wonderful wines. I'll be taping David Tennant. What a wonderful thought!

Ok ok i'll do the job.

I'm a hopeless cook and i'm rarely spot on with food or wine but apart from that i'm yer man.

How much do I get paid.

Oh and do I get to take Nigella home and i'm not working with McVerdant of the Times.

Reckon you mis-typed "gaga" MJ.

BTW, I've spoken to Nigella, and she said that she wants a goose for Xmas day.

And I'll do the stuffing...

Started watching the Oz show, turned off after 10mins. Oz looks like he's up to five bottles a day and is mostly incoherent, and that Hugh fella is about as funny as a winter gas bill.
