I can almost taste my parsnips sweetening in the ground.

The merest flutter of miniscule flakes, not sure they reached the ground. Now a beautiful, crisp and bright winter's day.

Bonjour from Snowbound Berks/Ox borders

6 inches in places here. I'd better go euro - bout 10 mil covering all over, but piled up all over the place.

Because the day is not warming up, inspite of the sun, have cleared all round the house and a path to my office.

The kids all round here were going to school on a sledge, Dads were pulling since many are off work till midday I'd say.

It's a Whiteout, Mel would like it - very pretty, very gleaming white.

GK, I dont think you'll find your parsnips on Sunday ? West Midlands are supposed to get it this week-end

Wind is veering south, temp up a bit and raining now.
Left my car the other side of town one night and went back for it next day. It looked particularly clean somehow. When I tried to open the door a single car-shaped crystal-clear sheet of ice fell off the entire side.
