Am considering changing my photo on the Forum. Look at the existing one, and I'll put up a new one later, for comparison.

Old one is 2003 vintage, new one might look a bit posed.

Can't just flip, in the way of Bacchus. Mind you, this is a pic of me, rather than any old b-related download.

Stupid from Stroud here.

Bacchus. How can I be so inept? OK, I'm trying to upload the new pic, so I delete the existing pic and browse in the Avatar section below the existing pic, and select my pic and Submit. No pic.

You do this practically daily. What have I missed?

Off to wine tasting in 7 mins and back about 10.30, so no reply, if you get a chance to reply before then.

The pic has to be 6kb or less, AND 80 x 80 pxls or less. Try double-clicking your pic, when it should appear in whatever your image prog is. Select from the options something akin to "edit > resize" or the like. Shrink the pic to within the parameters and save it. Try that.
OR..e-mail me the pic and I will adapt it and send back.

Which one is best, or shall I get out the Canon at the weekend. Will collect answer in the morning because this is way, way past my BT.

The new pic is splendid, I see no reason to change it.

Yes, I'm with GK

You should keep this one now. I don't think it is posed at all, you look friendly and relaxed
