Classic Loire.

Rich citrus with a long chalky mineral finish.

Stunning

11.3/10

I agree, although I haven't had it for a while.

Fournier Pouilly Fume 2005 Tesco £9.99

More attractive that Les Sentiers Sancerre. Creamy but also mineral, wet stones smell. Full, intense flavour with some ripe fruit and enough body to make it smooth, rather than surprising.

This vintage is better than the very good previous ones.

Classic Sancerre rather than Pouilly Fume.

A wine that makes you go....WOW !!
