Latest Tesco co buy

Best price of £54 for 6 bottles.
I have tried this in the past and noted it as very nice
Would imagine it's decent on the 2012 vintage (no 2012 review from Bob, 2011 scored 88)

I bought a few of the 2012 letter B when Ocado were discounting down to £9.50 a bottle. Jolly glad I was not caught with six on a Co-Buy !

This wine has a lovely nose, but the flavour has not been very pleasant, the first one a bit dull, the second one a lot worse after some lovely fresh chardonnay whites this autumn. Rather one dimensional, heavy and with a sour twist just before the finish, which is short. Middle palate is grapefruit dominant, which would be OK, except that the wine is semi puckering and boring as well. Nothing to love and an MSB failure.

The bottle looks nice with the gold painted B on the glass, but the contents are not recommended.

Right - lets re-visit this on the 3rd Day.

Much better from the fridge door, more intense from chilling and airing, the underlying flavours are starting to appear. I'm getting mango now, and some lemon grass. The sour twist only seems to make a statement when drinking the wine on a warm afternoon on the patio, or when left in the glass for a 15 minutes or so.

If you have the 2012 vintage from the Co-Buy, you may need to consider keeping the wine in a cool and dark storage area in your home until Autumn 2015. Long wait, sorry, but that is what I'd do.

Just had 6 at £8 along with 6 more Brancott Sauvignon GRIS.

Label says will cellar for 3 to 5 yrs. but had to try one !!

Nice tiz. A little spicier than most but that may mellow in a little while. As usual not toooo cold for best results.
