93 off Bob. Has all of the flavour of Astrolabe and Saint Clair but none of the class. Rich and oily textured. Like Goldwater when the pith dominates the fruit.. 15% oak.

Excellent......Mr G, I'm very pleased with that TN of yours, I bought 3 on the Waitrose 25% off week for £10.11. You confirm the flavour and the texture that I wanted, as I'm looking for winter quaffing for high end suppers. The 15% oak firm's the wine up for a starter, or cold chicken or bird, smoked salmon possibly ? Also a quality novelty for guests .....What is this, they ask ? Oak with some pith as well - sounds exciting, I hope there's enough acidity to prop it all up.

I save the ethereal Astro and SC Oh Block ! For high summer evenings, possibly on the patio. Sipping it neat on a 'totally clear page'.
