Occasionally there are several 'mystery’ case options available through the online site, in the interest of Quaffers research curiosity got the better of me and I ordered a bargain whites case last week, £36 + delivery (£3 per bottle). I also had a voucher that was about to expire, plus a £6 clubcard voucher, this took my bottle price down to around £2.50 inc del.

You get what you are given and this is what arrived-

2x Isle Negra Chilean Brut
1x Hardys Crest Chard/PN Sparking
2x Brancott Estate NZ SB 2010
1x Boschendal Reserve SB 2010
1x The Post NZ SB 2010
1x Namaqua Diamond Coast Reserve Chardonnay 2010
1x Inycon Card / Pinot Grigio 2009 (Decanter Silver)
1x First Cape Romanian Pinot Grigio 2009 (stop laughing at the back)
1x La Maison de Charlotte Vin de Table NV Grenache Blanc
1x Left Bank SB 2008

Other than a couple of scuffs and one stained label these were in perfectly good condition. Overall I think I’ve got a pretty good deal and can’t complain when you consider the cost.

Looks like you've done well. The Isla Negra is the one with riesling in it, and I often grab a couple on offer. The Brancott and Bosch are regulars and I'm on my third 6 of the post. Awaiting your comments.

Yeah. Left Bank SB - could be great with fish. The Goldwater MSB was wrong with plain grilled trout last night. Although racy acidity, far too tropical.

Stick it in your faves Bacchus and keep checking, it will come back on eventually. They offer a mixed case of fizz too, I read on another forum about someone who ordered it and ended up with three bottles of £25 champs included.

Fingers crossed you dont end up with a mixed case of Kumala :qofyuk:

I opened the Left Bank last night, quite impressed, obviously SB in a restrained NW style, age just starting to show with a lean towards a hollow finish. Not bottled in the UK.
