We also tried two rosé sparkling wines which were particularly disconcerting. The Underaga Rosé, which is £9.99/6.66 from Majestic smelt and tasted of blackcurrant – in fact, almost identical to a kir royale. It was just too full on berry-flavoured and so appeared false.
