Looks like some of us have nice pretty snow and others do not. Forecast for -25c to -30c in Scotland tomorrow night.

Plenty of the white stuff around Staffordshire. My girls are praying for school closures.

This made me chuckle.

Its starting to snow again here. We got just over half an inch on Monday night. I noticed tht although the air temp is a little warmer today that there is a chill in the wind that is making it feel a lot colder than the last few days.

Brrrr.

not 'alf!

cleared just shy of 1 foot of snow off the cars yesterday in case I could get out today (well actually to make a snowman if I'm honest)
Another 4 inches of powder sitting on top this morning

I've been out today though and main roads are in pretty good shape in terms of snow being cleared but side roads are still pretty "fun"
Fortunately both cars in our house have 4wd so slightly safer in these conditions

They're predicting lows of -9 around here tonight.

Feck me, that's brass monkeys!

I think I'll let the cat stay in tonight

2 inches here - started when I was logging off at Midnight - Heavy work load just now. The gov.gateway was super quiet last night.

Piled up a bit by stronger wind on the windows and recently painted wood work this mornng, so cleared it away, and off the sills.

A cold drying wind is running, which is quite desirable.

We don't have 4fwd, both 'mod' cars were cleared off and Sarah went off in the bone shaker.

Bone shaker Good - Rear wheel power = Bad

I had to miss Jancis's 10 yrs of JR.com party last night because the trains looked dodgy. Glad I did because trains were held up at Reading for an hour which means I'd've missed my last connection at Swindon and that's not somewhere I'd want to spend the night, in high heels and party dress.

Oh ! All right.....Glad Rags then, will that do ?

Certainly not posh, we need to leave the heating on all day - to wear posh in comfort.
