If you add all the integers from 2 to 7 you get 27.

Looks very mediteranean Ba, much more Roman though

Mel mentions an Island, but you confirm France.

We go to Corsica and have a look ?

27 ?

There are about 136 Appelations in France, nothing to do with 27 ?

Some Saint Emilion grand crus have biblical looking labels

No clue in the number, and nowt to do with islands. You're very cold. You need to get warmer.

Southern France. Avignon? Somewhere with Roman history? Which is the 27th departement? Eure in Normandy - nope.

27th letter of the alphabet? AA or e acute?

27 dresses - excellent romcom.

We've discounted islands, yes?

The day in October 1998 that I met Pete?

Am scraping the barrel.

3 cubed?

Well, 5 of those letters are in the answer. Quote "... may be the site where the vine was first cultivated in Gaul."
Still need to get warmer.

There is nowhere in France warmer than Bandol. Unless that's a clue.

Is this widely available, have we discussed it and have I tasted it.

Yep, it's a clue. Not widely available, but you may have tasted it whilst I have not. Mentioned by you as being in a online auction last Dec.
