There's been a little surge of traffic just recently on QO, wonder what it is?

Also just tasted 10 Chardonnay VdP d'Oc - very depressing tasting. Pointless, pointless, pointless dry white wine.

How did you find the oak Mel? More than you can poke a branch at or are they cutting back?

Very little oak in evidence. Some bitterness which might be oak, but not at all as expected. Not ripe, fat, juicy and vanilla-scented, but quite hard and plain. Article in next week or so.

La Galine, from Majestic at £3.99 was the panel's favourite, but mine was Asda's Extra Special Chard VdP d'Oc.
