Hey Mel,

Looking through that itinerary, the great hospitality you will receive and the probably luxurious lunches you will be treated to, plus the local travel and tour every day. Plus good Hotel and decent flights. Yeah.....

That is a Bargain.......bite your hand off jobby, don't you think ?

Can you find a free house keeper for a week ? who likes your kids.

It's FLYING INTO BEIRUT. Isn't that a little bit dodgy?

No more dodgy than anywhere else these days - is it ?

Dunno - why ?

Loads of international people go there - what do they say ? Surf and see.

Finland and Norway may be safer. Phone the Foreign Office general number is the only sensible advice I know.

A good friend asked if the Lebanon was high up on my list of wine regions to visit and it isn't really. It would be fascintating, but the money could be spent on other, more interesting, trips.

However, that friend's moto is "paint it white" and I'm fairly sure mine is "paint it red" so I'm holding the idea.

Exactly, paint the Town Red.

I have a feeling that the hospitality and the cuisine would be exceptional.
Those tours sound great - no smelly trainers, loud mouths, and shell suits on these.
