Hi there,

I sign in automatically but have just been asked to enter my username and password.

I never keep a record of my passwords so had to get a new one. This is the fourth time this has happened.

Is this a problem at my end or yours.

I'm using AOL 9 and IE6

Cheers
G

Could you answer a few questions for me? This is important information as your login details are stored in a "cookie" on your PC and is related to the browser you are using.

  • Do you sign in automatically to any other sites?
  • If you do, do you get the same problem with them?
  • Do you ever clean up your "internet history" (more precisely, your cookies)?
  • Do you always use the same PC?

I do from time to time clear my internet history.

It didn't occur to me that this would remove saved passwords.

Problem solved
