Got a pair. Well made, great mouthfeel and deaf nut Sem. Bit too petrolly for me but it will keep so hoping it will mellow. Second in the datk for a year. If you like your bit of petrol, you'll love this beast. |

Reckon in general these hunter valley semillons can be good for 10yrs from vintage, all depends on your preference for flavour profiles I've still got a few of the MPE 2005 to get through. How are they doing. These just seem to keep going staying fresh as a daisy |

I'm down to my last bottle Shezza, I remember opening a bottle a couple of months ago and thinking this is a little 'flat', still nice but the acidity & freshness was fading, then I had another bottle a couple of weeks ago and it was full of beans, lovely wine. Either I was having an off day or the cap wasnt 100% sealed on the tired bottle. Cant say for sure. I think the longer you store wine the greater the risk of variation in quality. |

Finished a bottle of the Semillon last night, good nose, bright tasting, a touch thin on the finish but certainly a decent £5 quaffer. Better as it warms in the glass and opens up, no noticeable improvement on second day. |
