Day two, lm making my way through the second half of this bottle and its incredible how much life this wine still has in it, it's drinking better now than ever before, beautiful wine. If you were lucky enough to stock up on this when big T sold it off, you're in for a treat, I regret only getting another six.

McWilliams Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon 2005.

Good to hear GK, especially as previous TN from you on this wine haven't been as enthusiastic
I've always been a fan although had always been waiting for the toasty, waxy notes to come through a bit more
Like you I stupidly didn't make the most of the Tesco clearance, assuming it's still be around for some time despite my recommending it to a number of people, only to them find it all gone
I think I have 5 or so stashed away now. Elsewhere online it sells in excess of £12 now

Indeed I was never a huge fan of this but it has developed into something rather special.

Kicking myself now for not buying more at £6!
Same goes for the mcGuigan Bin 9000 during Tesco last bin end that I shared half a case of with a friend. We probably should have got at least one case each

I'm holding on to a 2005 Lehmann barossa Sem that we all used to buy. Now summer looks to be on its way here, I may soon find out how it's held up
