Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Petite Sirah and Syrah. The season started with a wet Spring which lead to excellent early growth and canopy development. Weather was generally mild up to the last week of July when Napa experienced a brief heat spell, which sped up the ripening process and led to uniform fruit maturity at harvest. Dark, moody and excitingly savoury cassis. Rich, ripe and fabulous. Expensive, but it feels it.
