I popped into Aldi at the weekend and spotted a very Aperol-ish looking drink called Apice, at only £5.99 it looked too cheap to rival Aperol, but at that price we had to try it. Yep, it's pretty good, think Aperol with a dash of Campari. We had it in a spritz and didn't notice much difference. At £9 a bottle cheaper than Aperol you can't go wrong. |

Thanks for that definitive list of Aldi wines, it will save a lot of in-store indecision! Pleased to see that the Picpoul De Pinet and the Plan De Dieu will be back on the shelves, they were our best buys last year. |
