I popped into Aldi at the weekend and spotted a very Aperol-ish looking drink called Apice, at only £5.99 it looked too cheap to rival Aperol, but at that price we had to try it.

Yep, it's pretty good, think Aperol with a dash of Campari. We had it in a spritz and didn't notice much difference.
At £9 a bottle cheaper than Aperol you can't go wrong.

Pleased to see that the Picpoul De Pinet and the Plan De Dieu will be back on the shelves, they were our best buys last year.
