Thanks for the heads up Mel. Any idea when this will run to?
So many stickies to choose from now!

I'd like to have a dessert wine tasting with a couple of friends to work out what are best options available in the £5-£8 category:

Ch Roumieu (co-op)
TF dessert Semillion (Tesco)
Aldi muscat & beerneurlese (Aldi)
Montes late harvest Gewurtztraminer (Morrisons)
CyT late harvest Sauvignon (Tesco)
Ch Mauras (lidl)

Maybe throw in a st Stephens crown tokaji (Tesco/Morrisons) to compare with

Thank you Mel, I must go looking for it again.

Chateau Roumieu, (for me) is the pick of the bargain bunch recently.

I prefer it's style, a pale and more delicate sauternes, not so sticky, perhaps more Barsac somehow, or even excellent Cadillac. I suppose Chateau Filhot is the next step up, in terms of finesses and the lighter honeyed elegance that I adore.

Top of the tree of the lighter, fragrant and dancingly beautiful honeyed styles for me has to be Climens :D.
