| Was struggling to get to six bottles in Tesco for the 25% discount so chucked in a bottle of Tesco Finest Fino Sherry having read numerous times that served chilled this is what to drink with tapas. Very impressed, achingly dry with lemony, nutty flavours and a salty undertone - great accompaniment to nuts and olives. There's also a Manzanilla and Dry Oloroso in the same range which looked to be worth a try. The downside is that unlike your Gran's bottle of sherry this stuff needs to treated like a white wine and drank within 3-4 days, which is presumably why Tesco sell this range in 50cl bottles. The upside being it's not too alcoholic at 15% and more than stands up to the wife's tortilla chips, which normally render an expensive bottle of white tasteless. | |

| Preaching to the converted. Go to Waitrose and get the Apostoles Palo Cortado or get (by any method - sell small children if necessary) Fernando de Castilla Antique Fino or Amontillado. They change the tilt of the world. You'll never look back. | |
