Anyone tried and can recommend some Morroccan wine?

I picked up some Domaine de Sahari Cab Sav/Merlot in Waitrose a while back and just love it. We'd had it in a restaurant and really enjoyed it before realising what a bargin it was.

Waitrose don't seem to stock it anymore and I could never find it listed on their site anyway. Our local in Wandsworth had it but didn’t see it in other stores. So I'm treasuring the few bottles I have left.

From the little I know I think the reds can offer good value, mostly blends of Cab & Merlot, plus some decent rose. Good sandy clay/lime soil and lots of warm winds help.

There's a thought, we havent used our tagine for a while....

In the singular tagine gives 'Tangie eating'...hah!

In the plural 'Gitanes teasing Estaing'...hahs!

Cheers!

I first tried the Domaine de Sahari with a Lamb and Prune tagine - and that kind of sums the wine up, meaty and pruney with a little spice.

I was meaning to add it to my signature but got a bit confused using HTML tags. Still not sure I've got the link right below...

Some feedback would be great.
