...Sur 20 barrels 2010 for tonight. http://www.conosur.com/en/our-wines/20-barrels-limited-edition/sauvignon-blanc/ Despite the name it's an unoaked Casablanca sb. £13.99 at Tesco and I am told, the lovliest sauvignon blanc in all of Chile. We shall see ! |

A terroir driven cuvee, picked out by an IWR judge in a southern hemisphere taste-off as well Quote;- This wine is incredibly rich and lush on the palate with mineral laden ripe, grapefruit citrus and sweet melon fruit. Made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc aged in stainless steel. The fruit (clones 107, 242, 297) is from the upper slopes of El Centinela Vineyard in the coolest part of the Casablanca Valley just a few kilometers from the sea. The winemaker is Adolfo Hurtado I'm looking forward to your opinion G. Its been raining ab nausiam here.... And where you are ???.... shall you be peeling-off ya rubber wet suit after the horrendous deluge this afternoon. Maybe you're close enough to the Welsh coast to avoid this maritime monsoon. Enjoy. |
