I have noticed that there is a lot of Rose on the shelves from 2010 (and sometimes older )vintage -including Wine of the week GranTesoro on Tesco website - are these always going to be past their best and inferior? It appears that it is not just politics in which a week is a long time! |

I can’t comment on this mutant bastard of a brew as I don’t drink rose. I understand Goose regularly enjoys rose and other effeminate beverages, he should be along any moment to offer his opinion. |

Pay no attention to that GK. We all know that during Wimbledon he dresses up like Virginia Wade and drinks elderflower champagne. Yes, rose is at it's most flavoursome whilst fresh. Tesco do not have a stand out rose. This is my favourite at the moment.. Provence without the nasty grenache which nearly always tastes peppery. I would want the 2011 though. http://www.waitrosewine.com/231161504/Product.aspx |
