Favourites ! Chance to decide would be a fine thing !

Lagrange '89 would be my pick, the Sauterne '90 would pull me like mad.

Cos 89 is potentialy great - having drunk 4 of the Maitre D'Estournel '89 which was beautiful. But you have the '97

Langoa Barton '97 was pretty naff though, memorably dried out, poor fruit, no lift and astringent - dodgy bottle ? dunno, I only had one.

Richard - How do I pick when I dont know these wines, other than folk speak and blogs. Should a glass of any of these pass my lips in the future, it will surely be a poor year.

Our Wine society friend who could afford a few of these, is no longer with us :( .

Richard I dont have the dosh anymore, nor my mates (semi retired), inflation on these has rocketted

Dunc,

Glad you picked the Lagrange 89 as this is a wine I have wanted to try for the last 3 years and the time has arrived !!

The Leoville Barton is my favourite estate from the LB, so very excited about it too !!

Will report back early March with some Tn`s.

Richard
