The Wine Gang say;

"Crisp and herby on the nose – attractively bright and layered. To sip, this wine is delightfully crisp with very long lasting flavour and superb citrus refreshment. A real sense of vibrance and purity. Score: 91/100 (This review is specifically about the Block 19 Bird Block Sauvignon)"

And Majestic have this review credited to a bottle of Bird Block 21 - Duh !

Mr G will tell us if that is barking. :wink: G ...diff between 19 and 21 on the same vintage. Is it very detectable ?

One needs a geological map to view the terraine, angle to the sun and.... stuff. BTW, I'm not knocking the wine gang, the've been reliable.

Pioneer Block 21 is sweet and unworthy of the Saint Clair name. Stick to 06 2011 and 19 2010/11.

What is Gruner Veltliner.... is it a gay German officer from Allo Allo and gewurz is only gewurz if it's from Alsace.

Stop it Ba...stop it

Cheers Mr G, on the strength of that Winegang TN, you'd / one would go out and buy that block 21 unwittingly - Duh ! Thanks for revealing that fatal error. I had to mag up the label to check !

I don't think it's too much to ask of our friends at Maj, to have the TNs noted under the correct wines.

enjoy your week-end.
