Has won gold at the Air NZ awards.

Worth looking out for at Sainsbury.

£8.99 is the price. £6.99 when on offer as it is at the moment. My store only had the 2010 which was dry, pithless but tasteless when I last had one. Back in 2004 this was the equal of almost any out there but has been increasingly disappointing since.

Have to agree with

( Deux points}

Varies a lot from year to year, from really nice to undrinkable.

Gimblett Syrah still full whack at £9.49

I remember the name and the good reputation. This is a very similar price as the wine was 6 years ago ! Is It ? So, we deduce - more volume, less quality once the name is it the market place. Which implies ...... Lots of new vine planting, over irrigation, ecetera, etcetera.

2011 to try.
