John Humphries pronunciation of certain domaines was a little different than the sound generally used by us southerners. The required and immediate recognition problem was as tricky as some of the answers ! I would have done better from written questions, and so I believe, would have the contestant !

Saumur Champigny - very easy if you ask the question properly

There was a significant dissparity in Q. difficulty .

Agree totally.
Several of the questions were garbled. There was so much french (of necessity) which made it none too fair on the poor fellow...allegedly.
