Mine has not arrived yet, Duncan. It'll be here tomorrow, apparently. Will let you know as soon as I try it.

Lovely, really nice stuff, cut-grass and pineapple cube and sweeter than I expected, then it races ahead with good acidity, finishing crisp and dry. A super little glugger, although the initial sweetness may put some off. There's also something very Chilean about it. Very happy.

Yes, received that monday.

I have yet to try it due to trying the Firefinch instead to see if it was worth getting more on double dip. I have given a bottle away though :D

I have one in the fridge which will be opened next.

Tried one last week.

I'm not too sure. First day, aromas of cut grass and tropical fruit. Very similar to Chardonnay in taste. Almost Vicar's Choice acidity, but this became subdued over a number of days.

Its not a particularly clean taste. I think I can detect acetaldehyde, which might also dissipate with time. I think I prefer it warm. Its flaws are not as obvious as when cold and it has more flavour, its almost a little dull at fridge temps. It has changed in character quite a bit over a few days so may well benefit from more time.

No doubt at the price paid, it is a bargain, but I don't think I'd go there again, at this stage. However, I am hopeful a bit of age will bring some improvement.

Wish my wife shared your view, Im five bottles down already......

This is an unusual style and it wont suit everyone, did you find it sweet at first? It took me by surprise, sounds crazy but I thought of Mosel Riesling when i first tasted it :? Not so bad when I tried the next bottle.

Funnily enough, my wife thought it was nice too, but fortunately she doesn't drink very much. :D

I was looking for that sweetness after you mentioned it, but I couldn't find it. Bottle variance? Although, it did appear a little sweeter when warm.
