Great find Mr D but, sadly, no. Imperial Tobacco held annual weekend sporting events, open to all their individual factories, including Ireland and Scotland. Most events rotated, but the 6-a-side cricket was always in Bristol as there were 4 pitches on the same site. Carreras hosted the bowls, 1970 I think. We made the semis. |
