Shez, Your sort of red - Possibly (sorta Pen. bin 389 with a Spanish twist and interest)

Shez...What do you think ?

I thought of getting some ? Have you tried or heard of this finca. I know a few of the Andalucian fortified white wines and Competa wine. Have enjoyed a few cab influenced reds when there. Bought just one back in a holdall of riojas as hand luggage about 15 years ago, which was superb 12 years later.

Glad you remembered Upthrust - Archimedes.

Very complicated formulae to calculate it's value . Upthrust is enhanced by the reduced area of polished wetted surface in contact, as well as the depth below. Hence highly polished fibre glass racing sailing yachts will plane far better than rusty hulk vessels of the same dimension.

Sail boards go quicker off the deep waters of côte de l'Atlantique, than they do off Margate sands

Trawling - too much time one night........My misses very tired and gone to bed !

Looking at old world, but finca small producer newbies, with old world, old vine characteristics. Before, these folks in Andalucia never got their wines out of the region, Gonzales Biaz buying established village propeties, cos sherry volumes are slow these days. I know the region, the rocks are on the surphace, very dry shale everywhere, no real loam at all. The wine should / will be concenrtated and very minerally, if it reflects the terraine there.
