Two of the bottles advertised were substituted for...

This and an Albarino- Val do Salnes '09.

My first thoughts are one of delight, I considered the Fiano '08 to be the weak link of the original case, happy to see that one leave the party.

Have now found the Albarino

How much was the Fiano?

Also which was the other to bite the dust? All the others listed are in stock singularly :?

A touch dissapointed to loose the Touraine but I do love Albarino.

The Chablis is meant to be good. So we lose the Fiano and Touraine and gain the Prehy Chablis and an Albarino. Slightly bizarre as the Touraine appears in stock. I am pleased about the Chablis, no idea on Albarino. Never tried it.

I would have been gutted if we had lost the Saint Veran.

I am presuming I will get the same wines.

Jancis Robinson noted the Chablis recently.

J M Brocard, Dom Pierre de Prehy 2008 Chablis

Firm nose with real vitality. Classic stuff, and really revitalising and dry. Couldn’t complain about this! Textbook 2008 Chablis. 12.5% £12.99 Marks & Spencer

I love that virtually all of us bought this case. Credit to you, GK.

Maybe there is a candidate for the much feted online tasting.

Hi, my Int Premium whites Q4 (its says) has arrived.

Having read your posts, I immediately got out the stanley to see.....

GK - your assessment ? We have been upgraded would you say ? To loose that particular '09 Touraine for the albarino is a small minus. To gain the Brocard dom pierre prehy chablis for the Fiano is a bigger plus, so on balance, I'd say we are .........
Tribs - yeah, to loose the old vine Saint Veran would've be a downer
Ba - you are an Albarino fan ? Or no. But you get Brocard's text book chab says Jancis

Yeah, I'm totally in accord with you guys, and pretty damn chuffed with GK's expertise. I recon I believe him now on all his conquests  - which tribs doesn't know about........yet.

Tribs, this guy has found and bought Meursault and Beaune for £5 quid in the past !

Anyway....onwards and upwards

Nice 1 - GK, très bien monsieur - happy Crimble.
